Launching ceremony of 2 tugboats for Damen

In two days 5/5/2017 and 15/5/2017 ,Halong shipbuilding company Launching ceremony of 2 tugboats for Damen
           In two days 5/5/2017 and 15/5/2017 in Ha Long City, Ha Long Shipbuilding Company together with representatives of ship owner launched successfully 02 tugboats ATD 2412 which will be exported for Damen Group - Netherlands.

          The tugboat ATD 2412 is a high-performance tugboat, with a modern, flexible design and environmental protection. The vessel has a round bottom with dual propulsion thrust on the bow, propulsion system consisting of two high capacity main engines, electrical starters and box coolers with two rotary aft propellers and permanent propellers fixed on the bow. Due to its flexible function, this vessel is used to tow and perform support services for big vessels and marine structures at the ports and coastal areas in all weather conditions.
          The vessel with the length overall is 24.74m, breadth moulded is 12.63m, freeboard height is 4.60m, a propeller diameter is 2.60m, the displacement is approximately 490 tons, deadweight is 298 tons.
         The vessel to be built by Ha Long Shipbuilding Company. It is satisfied with the rules of the Lloyds Register and the International Maritime Organization IMO. The vessel is designed to work periodically on a 5 years cycle.
          According to the plan after launching, the ship will be delivered to the ship owner to finish the furniture at the satellite yard of the ship owner in Vietnam and Halong Shipbuilding Company continues doing keel laying for 02 vessels in series of 4 ships new building contract for DAMEN ship owner- Netherlands.
